How to Create an Assignment in Google Classroom

Step 5: Configure Additional Settings

Google Classroom offers some additional settings that you can configure for your assignments. Click on the arrow next to "Google Drive" to access these settings. Here are a few options you might want to consider:

  • Make a copy for each student: If you want each student to have their own copy of a document, select this option. It is particularly useful for worksheets or documents that require individual student responses.
  • Set as grade category: If you have set up grade categories in your class, you can assign the assignment to a specific category by selecting this option.
